Easter Monday

I think I may just spend some time today thinking about these lyrics:

(I must say I love this singalong version. Having the whole body of believers confessing with their mouths that Jesus is the Risen Lord is just pretty stunning to me.)

True Love -- Phil Wickham

Come close listen to the story
About a love more faithful than the morning
The Father gave His only Son just to save us

The earth was shaking in the dark
All creation felt the Father's Broken Heart
Tears were filling Heaven's Eyes
The day that True Love died, the day that True Love died
When blood and water hit the ground
Walls we couldn't move came crashing down
We were free and made alive
The day that True Love died, The day that True Love died

Search your heart you know you can't deny it
Come on, lose your life just so you can find it
The Father gave His only Son just to save us

The Earth was shaking in the dark
All creation felt The Fathers broken heart
Tears were filling Heaven's Eyes
The day that True Love died, the day that True Love died

When blood and water hit the ground
Walls we couldn't move came crashing down
We were free and made alive
The day that True Love died, The day that True Love died

Now, Jesus is alive

Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Jesus is alive
Oh, He is alive
He rose again

When blood and water hit the ground
Walls we couldn't move came crashing down
We were free and made alive
The day that True Love died, The day that True Love died

Come close listen to the story

I had a chance to worship with Phil Wickham for New Year's Eve 2008 and it really was amazing. He is a gifted and passionate worship leader, and the whole group was able to worship freely. It definitely was not a show, and you could feel God's Spirit working in that room. Praise God for gifted worship leaders - such as yourself!

And yes.. JESUS IS ALIVE!

I love that you said that about his "concert". I always have that feeling from him in listening to his CD that it isn't a show, but a true expression of his heart. Glad that translates in a live scenario as well. You and I should compare music "likes"...sounds like we have increasingly more and more in common!
